Ken has responded to all the critics out there.  If you have a few minutes, take a listen.

I don't think the accusation videos will, either.  All they did was get people riled up, pile on Ken, and stir up division in the body of Christ.  It has made the Christian metal community look like a bunch of judgmental children who pick one another apart.  The accusations have been noticed by non-believers, and this will keep some who were checking out Ken's music from coming to the Lord.  The whole thing is sad.

He sang live and used backing tracks for those big BGVs his music is known for. Y’all need to quit with this crap, especially against a brother in Christ, no less!

Well, though I said I wouldn’t, I suppose I’ll say a little more about this. First, I’ve been a fan of Ken’s for over 30 years. I love his music. He’s a talented guy. Wings of Pegasus on YouTube analyzed his Immortal performance. (As well as other videos from Ken) It was scientifically demonstrated that Ken did in fact lip sync many lead parts. He did sing some as well. (I’m not sure of the ratio) Ken being a world renowned vocal coach has made a living training singers to not “need” to use lead vocal tracks. Now, how does that look? Not good, right? If he would have admitted it and said “yeah, I not only use backing tracks but I also use some lead vocals because it fattens the sound and whatever.” But he didn’t. Instead, he comes out with a refutation that misses the mark. The world has noticed. They are calling him out. Christians have noticed too. Now, some may have not been so nice about it. I can’t say. But, frustration from vocalists that sing every part live…this situation doesn’t sit well. I pray this all passes soon but I in no way think it’s “un-Christian” to address individuals who are not being completely honest. Truthfully, it would have been best if he wouldn’t have even done a rebuttal. He doesn’t owe it to anyone really. But, because of his career, the world more than any Christian I know, wants an explanation why he had to use any lead vocal track since his course is supposed to eliminate that need. Note: I know he’s a good singer and musician. That isn’t in question. It’s more the ethics of performance that is in question. Sorry this is long. God bless.

He didn't just roll tape for BGVs. The lead vocal was being rolled in and out on a track as well. His "explanation" is straight up gaslighting.

I'm unsure what "crap" you're banging on about. If you're trying to make the assertion that it's wrong to point out bad behavior by fellow believers, I'm not sure how you support that notion.

I agree with everything said about his rebuttal, not really necessary. But there's also nothing wrong with needing to lip-sync here and there, especially as you get older.

Yes. He was lip syncing parts of the lead vocals. And very obviously.
Which he denies. Whilst gaslighting people in the process.
