Immortal Fest 2024
I want to know if anyone here has gone to immortal fest before? I have never gone I just very recently heard about it and would love to go. Theocracy, Deliverance, Tourniquet tribute(with multiple of the og members), these are some of my favorite bands. If I do go I'll probably just do day 2 July 27 because that's when those three bands are playing. I want to hear some stories if anyone has them. I know that you can pay 30 bucks for a meet and greet which is awesome, would either do Theocracy or Deliverance maybe both.

So far I've gone to all of them, bands have put on stellar performances! You can meet a lot of the band members apart from the official "Meet & Greet", most of them hang out, some play the rock star role, some are not able to stay long.

Re: Immortal Fest 2024
That's awesome that you can meet some of the guys without paying for the meet and greet. My plan is to do night 2, maybe a front of stage pass, and Theocracy meet and greet. I've been in person to one concert(1964 Beatles Tribute, sounded just like them!), and saw both nights of Metallica M72 Texas in theaters. It would be awesome to go to a festival and see some of my fav bands, if I can get someone to take me because my dad doesn't like metal lol.Pro-Zak wrote:So far I've gone to all of them, bands have put on stellar performances! I was at IF 2023 Part 2. It was a blast! Most of the bands put on a great show. I’m considering going again this year. It’s an 8 hour drive.

Just do it! It will be worth it to see Shout and Neon Cross at part 2!

My plan is to go to day 2 of part one so I get to see a super group with a member of Vengeance Rising, Stop The Bleeding Tourniquet Tribute, Deliverance, and Theocracy. What more could a Christian Metalhead ask for?... Maybe For Today lol.Pro-Zak wrote:No, that wouldn't be worth it, but Narnia would!alldatndensum wrote:Follower of Jesus wrote:I was at IF 2023 Part 2. It was a blast! Why don't you like For Today? To me they’re the definition of boring, monotonous metalcore. Just monotone screaming over endless breakdowns.

I’m going to part 2. It’s just too good a lineup not to. Whoever thought we’d see Shout or Neon Cross ever play again?!

Have you heard The Hammering Process or Reborn by Living Sacrifice? That's what I'd call top tier metalcoreChristian Thrash Rules wrote:Why don't you like For Today? Re: Immortal Fest 2024
If you’re asking me, I own every LS album, and I like them all to various degrees, but their debut will always be their crowning achievement in my view.
But I agree that later LS is top tier in its field.

Its a tough choice between the debut and Nonexistent. I like the debuts style better, but there's just something special about Nonexistent.Pethead wrote:If you’re asking me, I own every LS album, and I like them all to various degrees, but their debut will always be their crowning achievement in my view.

Re: Immortal Fest 2024
Wish I could go to Part II....would be great to see Neon Cross, Trytan, Sacred Warrior, and Worldview.
I would pay $30 for the meet-and-greet with Neon Cross, because it would be amazing to meet up with Dave Reeves again.
He's a friend of a friend.
I noticed that Larry Farkas is listed as the Neon Cross guitar player - I wonder if that is current?

They should've stayed a thrash band in my opinion. Also, why is the debut not on spotify? Does the band not like it or something?Pethead wrote:If you’re asking me, I own every LS album, and I like them all to various degrees, but their debut will always be their crowning achievement in my view.
