Carson's first time on his own

My oldest son, Carson (19) is out on his own for the first time. He's homesick, jobless and frustrated. If you could offer up a prayer of encouragement and blessing for him, that'd be awesome.

6 hour drive. And he's living with extended family, so it's not a total break.

Right on.  Has he found a solid church?

Yes, there is an Evangelical Free Church close by (same denomination as I go to) that he'll attend with my sister's family and my mom. Their pastor used to be the superintendent of our district--a good preacher and godly man.

Will be praying he finds a job and some quality friends (that should help with the homesickness).

Some great stuff happened today!

We got a piano successfully moved into his basement suite. This means he can move forward on his piano technician coursework.

He got a job! He's going to be sandblasting in a powder-coating shop. It's a small ma-and-pa business and he enjoyed meeting them already. It's a 20min. highway drive away.

His aunt gave him a desk and chair today, so he can work sitting down instead of lying on his bed!

So thanks for praying, and thankyou Jesus for providing everything we need.

Please urge him to wear a proper mask so he doesn't breathe in any particulates.  

There have been articles recently about health hazards in jobs where there is a lot of particulate matter blowing around and the companies aren't adequately protecting the workers from it.
