I actually had two cassettes by Preacher back in the day.  I would order any demo from HM Magazine that got a decent review as there wasn't enough metal coming out on Christian labels for me.  I am not usually a fan of thrash, but I did like this.

I actually thought this album had some traditional metal mixed in with the thrash at times.

It sounds like the rhythm guitar bypassed his amp and plugged his distortion pedal straight into the recording console. I know the likelihood of that is very low, but that's what it kinda sounds like.

I understand the complaints about production but frankly I'd prefer this approach over the too-digital approach of most of today's bands.

Do you still have all the demo and independent tapes you ordered based on Heaven's Metal reviews?  I may be interested in buying them all, if you are interested in selling.

Does anyone know where to find more about them?  Looks like this demo is from 1995 but I cannot find any info on the band.  There are links from a site but they all link back to the same site.

Sorry.  I see that he is on FB and posts occasionally.  I think it's likely that Preacher was basically a one man band.

I like the guitar work on this one.

Pretty sure it features a drum machine, but sometimes that's just what you have to do to see your vision through.
