Metalium - Incubus: Chapter 7 Their second to last album. German power/speed metal.
Messiah Force - The Last Day (1987) From Quebec. I truly forgot how great this is. The singer is terrific, she sounds like a combination of Evan and Stokes and Towne Cryer. Excellent 80's metal.

That’s been one of their problems since Load. Hardwired had some great tracks, but I have trouble making it through the whole thing.

Only listened once so far, but I think the new Metallica is good. Not GREAT, but good. I can tell it's going to be a grower though.

I like a lot of James' guitar and vocal melodies on this one.

Kirk, with the exception of a few decent parts, is still on the disappointing/downward trajectory with his solos that he's been on since Load.

Robert is very prominent in the mix. Kind of like Newsted was on Garage Days.

Lars is Lars. No real surprises here. Not bad, just...Lars I guess. LOL!

Overall I like it pretty well on the first listen. Since it's gonna be a grower, I'm sure I'll like it more on repeated listens.
