Thanks. Listened to the whole terrible sounding thing. I'm that desperate for the Cowboys. Monty was such a great showman. Ben, a complete frontman with all the tools. Wally Farkas has no stage presence but is a skilled, tasteful guitar player. Truly one of the greatest bands of the era. They're up there with Dream Theater as far as I'm concerned.

Chase the Sun -- wow, my favourite listen in awhile!! Unique & inspired & unpredictable while still being groovy, melodic and catchy!! I LOVE the alternate time signatures, the tempo changes, the key changes, the dissonance here-and-there. And I LOVE LOVE those guitar solos--most unique, yet blisteringly fast! All in all, 100% rating upon first spin!!

For some odd reason--probably because there's just so much music out there--I haven't really listened to Gretchen Goes to Nebraska very much. I'll put that on the playlist as well. I like King's X style of playing and these early albums are, let's say, optimistic. And that's refreshing given most of their later stuff.
