Ha.  Eh, honestly I was quite content with just "Christian" and "secular" threads, since sometimes those are difficult enough to pin down!  But folks use this thread so I don't mind having it here.  I think Superjuice's standards to judge against in the first post are clear enough to give a rough framework and we can just use as much discretion as possible.

I'd like to see stronger leadership, Kerrick. Lay down the law and force us to comply. Erase topics and ban members. Emulate Vader and Jong Un. Buy a Trump wig.

Ha!  Well actually right now Kenn Nardi - Made just came on shuffle.  KN is sorta thrashy prog so there ya go!

Wow! I've never checked this thread until a few days ago. I saw this post, was curious, and went off to listen. I've been captivated ever since! 

I'm overwhelmed by the beauty of this album! There are some seriously ferocious riffs but boy if he was trying to get at the glory of God in the majesty of nature he nailed it with the atmosphere and that cover art! This album is somehow both relaxing and enthralling at the same time.

It might be easier at this point to lists artists who aren’t apostates or heretics.

LOL I actually started a thread like that some time ago and it quickly devolved into a major dumpster fire.

I remember that. It was a shame because it started off very well and encouraging.
