Favorite and Least Favorite Judas Priest Album?

Favorite album: Painkiller, by a hair over Firepower. Painkiller is just one classic song after another. Firepower is nearly as good but hasn’t reached that classic status just yet. 

Least Favorite: Redeemer of Souls - boring songs, atrocious production.

Favorite: Painkiller. It got me into them and it just annihilates from top to bottom. Most of their albums have a bit too much filler, but Painkiller doesn’t. (Nor does Stained Class).

Least favorite: Ram It Down.

I like both Redeemer of Souls and Firepower.

Favorite:Screaming For Vengeance
Least: Turbo
One I like a lot and don't see it talked about much is Defenders of the Faith.

Turbo>British Steel

About 2/3 of Defenders is fantastic. Then there’s Heavy Duty, Eat Me Alive, etc.

Favorite - Stained Class
Least favorite - Demolition

My first Priest was Painkiller and it rocked my face right off.

Least Fav: Nostradamus

I'd have to turn in mine first.     I've never listened to a single Judas Priest album. I'd rectify that today, but I've already got 2 new listens in my queue (Brainstorm-Downburst and Megadeth-UA). We'll see how it goes!

Just add Screaming for Vengeance, who needs a life.

Favorite:  Unleashed In The East  (Live Album)

Almost all their albums have some great songs and a lot of filler.  
But "Unleashed" has no filler whatsoever....

Least Favorite:  Not sure, they've had their share of albums that did not grab my attention after "Priest...Live!", and others I never bothered to check out

Agreed on the filler. Painkiller and Stained Class are strong top to bottom, though.

Never been a Priest fan. Strangely though, I don't mind saint. The songs are more catcher to my ears and the music on the whole, better— even if they are an imitation. Iron Maiden destroys them both though (IMO)

I actually also prefer Saint to Priest.

Really hard to say, but off the top of my head I'm going with Defenders of the Faith as my favorite, and Demolition as least favorite.

Really hard to pick a favorite but I would probably go with the first JP album I ever got "Screaming For Vengeance"  (I also dig every track from "Point Of Entry" and "Stained Class" as well so both of them are very close behind).

Least favorite, "Rocka Rolla"

Confession, I don't have anything released after "Pain Killer"... so obviously none of those factored in for me.

AGREED. Most die hard JP fans say they love "Rocka Rolla" but do they really?

My fave is literally everything else in their discography.
They are due for a nue album.

I like it pretty well actually.

It was my first Priest album when I was a kid, so nostalgia may be a factor here. 
Of course I had heard some of their early 80s songs before I got Rocka Rolla, but I had never heard a full Judas Priest album before. 

It actually kind of sounds like they were trying to channel their earlier, more progressive material (Rocka Rolla, Sad Wings) when they were making Nostradamus (which I also like, even though it's my least favorite).

Favorite: Defenders of the Faith - Who doesn't want to rule the world with metal?  We're heavy duty...

least:  Point of Entry.  Ugh.  I hate the guitar tone on here.  It's weak and dry.  Such a step down from British Steel.  I don't even consider this album metal.  That being said, Run Desert Plains and Heading to the Highway are some of their best songs.  Dreadful cover as well.
