New Judas Priest!

I like it, but I don’t love it. The sound is very good, I’m just not as sold on the songwriting. I think this may grow on me with repeated lessons, however.

Not a big priest fan but that was better than I initially thought it was going to be going off the preview snippet posted earlier. Chorus gave me memories of the first time I heard Bloodgood's Detonation album and hearing Styper's TO Hell with the devil.

Not bad… but also not great. The keyboard intro part reminds me of Dream Theater.

It's better than I expected, nothing new for them but still very credible.  
I'm surprised Halford can still hit those high notes.

I remember reading an interview recently with Faulkner, where he talks about how good Halford sounds on this album and the notes he's able to hit. 

I liked this new song on the first listen, so if the rest of the album is this good (or close), it's going to be a really good one.

It also may be their last studio album, so if that's the case I hope they go out with All Guns Blazing! (Sorry, had to!)

I got to see Judas Priest (along with Queensrÿche, who opened for them) live in person last year. Plus, the guitarist appeared in one of the Judas Priest gigs I was in last year.
