Judas Priest - “Nostradamus”

I’ve been on a Judas Priest kick lately. I think this album is underrated. It’s not the best thing they’ve ever done but it has some solid tunes. I especially like the title track and Persecution. My other favorite - and this would be a top 10 favorite for me - is Alone. There’s so much emotion in that song! The high scream accents in the chorus, especially towards the end, are just awesome.

It was decent but way too much bloat which makes it hard to listen to as a whole.

I could never get into it or AoR. Now Firepower, that thing rocks!

I believe I read somewhere (maybe here on CMR) where someone has removed all the linking tracks and just left the songs and said it was a much easier way to appreciate the good songs which this album has. I need to try that.

I respect that they tried something different straight after AoR, just a shame it is so bloated.

Despite Judas Priest being second only to Megadeth as my favorite band, I just don't dig this album at all. Title track ain't bad but downhill from there for me.

Taking out the linking tracks is a good idea, I did that with Hell Destroyer by Cage.
