Dale embraced universalism a number of years ago. It’s present on the albums from This Is It on.

Yes and no. What I mean is that he usually uses scriptural language, but he invests it with his own meaning. Check out Universe from This Is It for an egregious example. Many times it’s possible to interpret the lyrics in a non-universalist way, which is what I’ve seen some (I think Fundy?) say that they do.

CD is available for order!  I just ordered mine.  Even at just five songs, this has major album-of-the-year potential for me.

Been listening to this last night and today. I'm really intrigued that they recorded the main music live as a band; you don't see that very much anymore (at least from what I've read and know from experience). It's a ballsy move and I've also heard it's one of the elements that helps to create a "magical" recording. It ups my respect for them a ton and--in my opinion--helps alot in bringing emotion, cohesion and enjoyment to the music. It's not a style I listen to very often but I'm really enjoying it.

The solo 3:30 into Lazarus Brigade is bold and stylish with such a cool groove underneath it!!

^Right on!  I totally get what you mean by that "magical" feel and upping the enjoyment all the more.  My [online] interactions with the two brothers even further that enjoyment for me; they're both extremely friendly and kind fellas and having that somewhat personal connection is pretty cool!

Very awesome! And I'll echo what you're saying about personal connections; anytime a musician or an author responds to me personally immediately upps their content in my mind!! I'm listening to Fatherland at this moment. I LOVE the lead guitarist's style of adding harmony when he plays those long, high, whammied notes and phrases!! At first I thought it was just in the first song but it came back in this song. I'm in music heaven!!
