I have a hard time getting through that one. If I want Genesis prog I do Lamb Lies down or Selling England By the Pound.

I’m trying to take a deeper dive into prog. But I tend to gravitate to later Genesis because it’s got stronger hooks.

The Interbeing "Icon of the Hopeless"
Not really sure how to classify these guys. It's kind of Djent but also not that technical. Doesn't feel like core either to me. But I like them.

Sword has a new album coming out, the band from the 80s. Couples new songs on Spotify, one is good one is meh, kind of how I expect the album to be.

AGREED. For a band that started in the early 80's and had one unplanned super hit with 'Turn Up The Radio' they sound so different. Because they have disbanded at least twice and have had many lineup changes. I saw them in their prime (1985), sadly it was not memorable.
