Demon Hunter goes prog?

I've never cared for Demon Hunter's genre, and so have not listened to them for years. This is really great; gonna be spinning it all day.

I don't consider it prog but it definitely plays to their melodic strengths and pushes the length of a typical DH track. An amazing song in the end. Add to it that Tom is one of the best vocalists in metal and getting him to guest on this pushes it even farther.

The guys have said over and over, this will be a much different album. They threw conventions out the window and didn't concern themselves with expectations. The deluxe is nearly 20 songs in length and their first concept album. Super excited about what will come of it all. Considering this and Freedom is Dead as the first singles, this album will be full of pleasant surprises!

Yeah, not prog, just has Tom so it pretty different than their usual.

I like it much better than their usual material.  But I also really liked the acoustic album so no surprise I suppose....
