Im starting to really love it. This seems to be a mix of genres, I thought just stright death/doom but nope. I like that!

For sure. Their demo and first album were pretty straight-forward doom/death but then they shifted in this direction that is almost more rock but with death vocals, while still maintaining a metallic edge.

If you like Past the gate, you would also probably like their three-track digital release simply titled "Promo." IIRC it was on iTunes but I don't know where else, maybe Amazon.
