Unblack Metal Bands, Please!

Lately, I've been enjoying the music of black metal bands. I have certainly enjoyed the original sounds of bands like Zeal & Ardor. I know there may not be an artist who makes music quite so similar as that band, but I thought I'd ask to see if there's anything similar. 

So what I'm ultimately asking here is recommendations for unique unblack metal bands - ones that incorporate avant-garde, neo-classical, Soul, pretty much any subgenre to go with Black Metal. Blackened death metal, post-black metal, blackgaze, and the likes are welcome suggestions too.

The band Kekal comes to mind for avant-garde, especially from their 3rd release "The Painful Experience" onwards.

As far as uniqueness goes, I would recommend starting with Lengsel, Grave Declaration, and the most recent releases from Vardøger, Drottnar, and Epta Astera.
