Winger

What does everyone here think of Winger? While I like their first two albums (Easy Come Easy Go is actually my favorite song by them), I'd say that their peak was Pull, a great album that, even though it was under promoted, showed them at their best. Heavier music and deeper lyrics (if only they had put their Metallica diss Hell To Pay on there as well). I've heard their later stuff as well and it's not bad either, though Pull is still the peak. All of them were excellent musicians too, I'd say they're on the same level as guys like Satriani and Vai. Also, Kip had some great pipes.

Totally agree that they're awesome and underrated. I saw them live a couple of years ago and it was a great show, save for them still singing "Seventeen", which is just downright creepy now. But I digress. They've had some great moments on recent albums too. Songs like "Pull Me Under" from Karma, and "Rat Race" and "Midnight Driver of a Love Machine" from Better Days Comin are awesome songs. I think their first three albums are all chock full of great songs, but my favorite song from them happens to come from Pull - "Junkyard Dog". 

I agree that Pull was their best, not a bad song on it and it's a toss up between Down Incognito or Blind Revolution Mad as my favorite. Also, most would put IV as their worst album but for some reason I really like it though it's mostly missing the hooks of earlier albums.

They were great!  I love all of their albums, but the first two were my faves.
