Warpriest (trad doom) Debut Album Due November 13th!

Well well well, it's looking like I may actually FINALLY get to change Deathisgain's title from "Metal Slacker"!  Warpriest has announced that the debut album has been finished and is looking to be released Friday November 13th!  Check out Warpriest's facebook and twitter for some glimpses of the really fantastic looking album artwork too.

And as we wait for the album to drop, here's the latest released single, appropriately named for the times: The Black Plague.

All I can say is that it is about dang time, dude!  I can't wait to hear this!!!

I hope releasing it on Fri the 13th is good for them, they are doom after all.

Also premiering The Witch This Saturday, the 24th. It's been out for a while, but this is a rerecorded version.

I feel like I've been waiting for this for so long that I'm too old to enjoy it now. 
All I gotta say is the artwork better be good!

LOL me too.  Heck, I was just a single Californian boy when I discovered Warpriest, and now I'm a married, bearded, Idahoan father of two - and far more cynical!  

As for the artwork, here are a few insights into what it's gonna look like.  I'm considering hiring Warpriest's art department to paint a giant mural of this on my house...

I will say that alldat won't like "The Witch", it is eight minutes long. The other songs are shorter tho.

Is there going to be a physical release for this?

I will give it a go, but I probably will end up skipping that one.  Having A.D.D. makes things like this difficult!

Yes! She is very talented and for a while we've talked about collaborating. I designed it the way I do usual album covers and then see turned it into a painting. We were going for a Frazetta style. He's the artist that Molly Hatchet used his Death Dealer painting.

Favorite track so far is either Sorcerer of Lies or Black Tower 

Black Tower. 
My only complaint is the drum sound can be a little annoying at times but overall it's good.

I've been out of town for a week and was only able to place my order today.  I had to get the "King" bundle despite the obviously pandering name.

I didn't see a "King" bundle.  I guess that I am just a lowly serf.

What was the serf bundle? A disc and some dirt?
