Stress (Heavy Metal from Hungary)
I was recently recommended this Hungarian heavy metal band from a friend and they sound very good! Here's what he had to say about them:
They sing in Hungarian which some of you may not appreciate, but I think that's cool. Check 'em out! Here are their albums on youtube:
...not Christian but the lead singer has had Christian periods so to speak, not sure where he is standing right now regarding his faith. there is a double package of their two albums, which is kinda nice. there is an anti-satan song on that one.

I ended up liking that more than I would have guessed! The classic heavy metal sound is usually not my thing at all (in fact, almost any other genre of metal I probably like more, lol) but there is some impressive/catchy guitar stuff here, especially on that second album.
Foreign languages fascinate me, so I think the Hungarian singing is pretty cool.

My in-laws sent us a package from Slovakia for my wife's and daughter's birthdays and included Stress' two albums for me. I'm cranking now and am really digging 'em!

Interesting stuff. For some reason they remind me of the French heavy metal bands from the 80's - e.g. Sortilège. H-Bomb, Blasphème, Strattson, High Power, Killers, etc.).
I never mind foreign language singing...I think it adds to the charm of the music. Since it is their natural language, how they enunciate surely shapes their riffs and song structures. Often when a band tries too hard to sing in English, it sounds forced and less comfortable for them.
