Messenger - Blind Sided

It's very good, they're improving quite a bit.  Too bad there are so many other bands named "Messenger" though it gets confusing.   There is another Christian metal band named Messenger from Sweden, while all the others are secular.

Yeah I know what you mean. As far as I know, this is the one from Sweden.

Ok, so it appears I was wrong. I assumed this was the band from Sweden. This one is from the US. Probably why the musical style on the song above was much different than the Messenger downloads I have (below). And if you look on YouTube there are 500 bands with that name. Gets confusing!

The Messenger who just released the song "Blind Sided" is from Arlington, Virginia.  They play around the Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. area.

The other song I really like from them is this one:




I also like the Swedish Messenger, they have some good songs too but the style is different.

I like that new song that Mike posted!  Great stuff!

I must say that I like both Messenger's listed here.  I could use some new albums by both of them.

Wow. That new song Blind Sided is great! It took a few minutes to grow on me, but by the end of the song, I was jamming. I followed them on Facebook. Hopefully they will be releasing the new album soon.

Ha, I assumed it was the Sweden band also.

They should call their next album "Bag" and use this for the album artwork:

Another band on the highest position of most underrated bands.

Yep, they are still around. I don't think they ever quit. They represent the Nation's capitol and surrounding areas in carrying the Christian metal MESSAGE into dark places. Frank (lead singer in the red shirt) and Vlad (lead guitarist) have kept the band going through the different line ups throughout the years. I was so blessed to watch them perform a couple times last summer. I'm in the yellow cornerstone shirt

Great song....very cool sound...by the way, is that cookie a chocolate chip or oatmeal? I’m having a cup of coffee and that cookie looks very good!

The Swedish band were great.  They released two EP's and then quit (much to early for my liking!)

And yes, that's a great song, at a time when we all need to listen to it.

A second song from the new album that, at first, left me a little cold, but as I listened on it grew on me. I really like both these songs, but neither grabbed me from the outset. Interesting. It's been a long time since that happened for me. I usually either hate it or love it right from the jump.
