I agree that the reissue cover is a joke.

It's from an era when thrash bands thought they were comedians.

I don't mind Sid's remastering but would've preferred Cliffy. Yeah the cover is bad, I think it was done by the Intense Millennium guy's wife or something and I know Jimmy hated it as well. Plus the scan of the original artwork is very bad. IMR sure did put out some lousy artwork on all of their stuff with bad covers and lyrics printed so small you couldn't read them. Plus the colors inside were pretty bad as well making lyrics even harder to read.

Every Sid mastering i've heard, for my ears, is terrible.

Angelic Warlord wrote:It must be noted the fantastic re-mastering. Not that the original sounded bad, but the Intense Millennium version presents with significant upgrades sonically in showcasing the all around fuller sound. Both drums and guitars receive noticeable improvements in the process. A purchase of the re-issue comes strongly recommended as a result.

I don't hate the remaster but don't think it really helped either. Cliffy would've been my choice.

Cliffy did his own remaster of the album and cut some of the joke songs out. I personally preferred the re-release, sounded a bit clearer to me.
With regards to packaging - I believe IMR folded not long after re-releasing a few albums?

I have it... and the packaging is horrible! The sound isn’t as good as it should be either. It needs a proper reissue with a pro mastering engineer. Whoever did the Tourniquet reissues did a fine job imo!
