Perfect 10s

I've been prepping for a little road trip... Stuck the following discs in my "to-go" box among other albums.  I would rate these as "perfect 10s":

Indeed, I have, Black Rider.  It's off of their 2000 Metal Blade release: Gospel Cola.  My favorite song off of Gospel Cola is "Malediction".  Was listening to Alpha & Oranges on my road trip; it's a great album, too.  Penguin Dust is also a good album.  I would say my personal ranking of Atomic Opera albums would be: 1) For Madmen Only, 2) Alpha & Oranges, 3) Penguin Dust, 4) Gospel Cola.  I know FMO and A&O were produced by Sam Taylor.  IMO, Sam had some "magic" production hands to him back in the day.  Whether King's X, Galactic Cowboys / Awful Truth, or Atomic Opera, everything he touched in the late-80's - early-90's was outstanding.  I'm not sure what bad blood happened between Sam as producer and said bands, and nothing against the bands as I still enjoy each of them, but I can honestly tell a difference between the last album Sam produced for each band and their subsequent album(s).  I find myself favoring the Taylor produced albums over the others.

Haha right on.  I really like that movie a lot, though it's quite risque and I've been trying to be much more careful with what I watch so who knows if I'll ever watch it again.

I don't think I've even seen the entire film...or if I did it was so long ago that I don't even really remember it.

If you ever get a chance to watch the TV-edited version, I highly recommend it.  It's an extremely well-written movie and Dudley Moore is just fantastic in it.  There's a fair bit of nudity in it though so I'd be hesitant to suggest watching the R-rated version.
