Rob Castles pre-order on Girder

The sample track sounds promising, but I'm going to see if I can find more samples before diving in on the pre-orders.

I just ordered a bunch of cds from them and they came quickly, well packaged, and at a good price.

I have had issues getting stuff in the past and getting paid for merch from him as well.  When this board was bigger, there were a lot of folks that had troubles with him.  There are other issues, but I won't go into that.

This is a remaster/reissue of one of his early albums.

Ah. Went and looked him up and was right on what I remember, I think I had Kamikaze Christian back when.

I went ahead and ordered this.  Good stuff.

I found two more of his CDs supposedly redone by Girder (according to Amazon).  I ordered those as well.  They may be boots for all I know.

They are CD-Rs and are not released by Girder.  They have no record company name, credits, or even a copyright notice.

Could they be those Amazon print-on-demand CDs?

They are indeed!  However, I have been talking to Rob Cassells all day and they are not legit copies.  I am going to report these to Amazon.  If that doesn't work, I have told Rob he needs to get a lawyer to write a cease and desist letter.

Also, those other albums will be properly remastered and reissued later this year.

I don't like those print on demands from Amazon. The Stray Cats have a new CD out and there ARE actual copies but if you order from Amazon it is a CD-R for some reason.

It makes you wonder if Amazon even tries to verify who is selling CDs through them.  In Rob's case, they are definitely not legit and should be pulled from sales.

Off topic, I realize, but I ordered a Sent By Ravens CD from Amazon and it came as a print-to-order CD-R, also.  Drives me NUTS!!!
