LOL. I noticed that the snake(s) in the logo are no longer bound in chains. This is a cool album cover though. Medusa is kind of hot.

Thanks to the good people who took the time to explain the lyrics. I was specifically having trouble with:

Stare into her eyes – you’re free
Free for all eternity
Gazing at Medusa

apparently I was reading this as “gazing at medusa makes you free” but folks have clarified that instead BECAUSE you are free, you can gaze at medusa and live.

We're excited to announce that virtuoso guitarist Chris Poland (Ex-Megadeth, OHM) will play leads on the entire upcoming Tourniquet album "Gazing at Medusa". "Chris' talent is so impressive. We can't wait to hear what he lays down on these tunes!" says Ted. Chris will have his leads completed by mid July at the latest.

That's cool but does it mean Aaron will not play any leads on the album?

What is the ETA of the album and who will be doing vocals? 90% of the backer updates have been nothing but SPAM sales pitches for discounted albums. Getting a little old and drawn out.

Aaron has done a lot of leads. See the lyrics on Antiseptic Bloodbath for his work on that album. He did all the leads on MVTR (except for one small part on one song). He handled most of the leads on Crawl, too.

We're excited to announce that Tim Ripper Owens will be doing the vocals for the entire rest of the upcoming "Gazing at Medusa" album. Tim's phenomenal vocal talent is well established, and we have no doubt he will make the tunes sound awesome. Of course, his abilities were noticed by other iconic bands, as he became the voice for Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Yngwie Malmsteen, and others. Vocals should be done by mid-August. Looking for a late September release!
