I just learned of this band today, apparently a group comprised of guys from an impressive roster of other bands (Journey, Dream Theater, Guns N' Roses, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc). From what I can gather, they just formed this year, and....my jaw is dropped in awe

Lots of potential, but I hate this. It's not melodic at all. No groove whatsoever. Just a personal taste thing. Not saying it sucks. It's just not my thing.

I don't think great albums are created by "jamming" in the studio for a few days, even with extraordinary musicians.

How many great guitar hooks has Bumblefoot created in his life?  I know the guy can play anything.

This is my exhibit A on why supergroups are just hype and rarely if ever deliver.  I would say that I really enjoy Chickenfoot III though, and it surprised me.
