Agreed, someone point him in that direction, Scott isn't on the message board much any more (including his own).

I'm not a particularly big thrash fan... but this is some good stuff!
You gents planning on any physical/CD releases?

As alldat said this really isn't my type of music but I like it. When the CD comes out I will buy it. Same with D.O.G. That really isn't what I normally listen to but that CD is pretty awesome as well.

Got my shirt in the mail last week - been rocking it all over. Cannot wait for the album to drop. This is the most excited I've been about a new band in a long, long time. Soli deo gloria!

Saw a band at Audiofeed this year; "Shrapnl", kidz in their early 20's performing total Slayer worship!

I am really looking forward to this album coming out ! Its refreshing to see something labeled as " Christian " that actually has its lyrics rooted in scripture. The music and vocals are killer as well.
....btw, what was the inspiration for your bands name ?

thank you for the kind words - its nice to see people recognizing the bold nature of the music and lyrics - all glory to God
as far as the name is concerned, the word SERVANT is used in the bible multiple times and Jesus Christ was the perfect example
of what a servant was supposed to be and He was the ultimate servant - as Christians He commands us to be servants;
"Have this mind among yourselves, which was in Christ Jesus, who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a SERVANT, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form He humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross."
Philippians 2:5-8
the band name was already taken so we decided to use a double name that was relative to servant and the word RITUAL was sent to us through steadfast prayer - since a ritual is something we do or a series of actions we do all the time and consistently that follow someone (Christ), it made perfect sense and sounded like our style metal at the same time; so then, RITUAL SERVANT was born

His work is awesome! Good choice. So excited that you're making sure the visual aspect of the album is up to par with the music. So many Christian bands have terrible artwork and it really keeps me personally from buying their albums.

I don't like that pic, the Bible says Jesus had nothing physically we'd notice him for but this is a very Adonis like pic. And what's with Mary and the crown? Feels very RCC.

Versus something like this? It’s like a mix of Weapons of our Warfare and Testimony of Apocalypse. Three best Christian thrash covers IMO.
Another cool one:

response
in response to the previous posts:
- this is a sample of Noel's artwork based on Michelangelo's famous "Pieta" sculpture
- kerrick - yes he is incredible, but this is not our album cover - he is currently painting our album cover
- strangerhoncho - thank you - we pray our bold album cover will change the face of CM covers forever
- average joe - thank you, we look forward to the audience's response
- black rider - yes you are correct, according to Isaiah 53:2-3....and if you check out the "Pieta" sculpture it has a very Catholic feel indeed
"For He grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground;
He had no form or comeliness that we should look at Him, and no beauty that we should desire Him.
3 He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not."

Roll your eyes but it's true One thing Islam has that we don't is more respect for how we portray our God. We make him cartoonish.
