I am currently working through all of Aerosmith's albums.  What are your favorites and least favorites?

Favourites would be Toys in the Attic, Rocks and Nine Lives.

Least favourites Just Push Play and Music from Another Dimension, though Jaded is one of my favourite songs and is on Just Push Play.

I probably listen to the Joe Perry Project's first two albums more than Aerosmith.

Like:  Permanent Vacation, Pump, Get a Grip, Toys in the Attic, Rocks

Dislike: The post 2000 studio albums.

The disc that is most suited to me is probably the A Little South of Sanity live album, Get a Grip gets the most consistent play.

I only care for everything done up to Done with Mirrors. Don't care for the pop direction they went into starting in the 80s.

While I had heard a few of their classic songs on the radio, my first Aerosmith album was "Permanent Vacation".  Stellar album!  It is still my favorite of their albums thus far.  Of course, I am only up to their 1993 album.

I've only owned 4 or 5 and mostly from the classic period.
I really liked "Rocks", "Toys in the Attic" and "Done With Mirrors" was pretty decent.  I couldn't get into "Rock in a Hard Place" with the exception of the song Lightning Strikes.

I've only ever owned two of their albums, Toys in the Attic and Draw the Line. Three if you count Greatest Hits. I still don't know how Walkin' the Dog isn't on that album. It's definitely my favorite Aerosmith tune.

I finally got around to listening to "Honkin' On Bobo".  Absolutely brilliant!  It was a return to the 70's sound with a lot of blues riffing.  Great stuff!

Yes "Honkin' On Bobo" is great. Almost added that to my favourite list.

Ha Ha, I saw them tour during their prime (Draw The Line 78) and when they tried to make a comeback (Done With Mirrors 85)
tours.

My favorites would be:

1.  Rocks
2.  Draw The Line
3.  Toys In The Attic

I absolutely hate the pop direction they went in after "Done With Mirrors" (which in itself is s decent album).   It's not that I hate pop - far from it - just how they sound doing it.

Have not heard "Honkin' On Bobo," maybe I should check that out if it's back to bluesy rock.

I like every Aerosmith album. Rocks is probably their best. I don’t like many of their lyrics, however.

I have their first five (S/T - Draw the Line) and Live Bootleg. I frequently listen to all of those. Get Your Wings is a nostalgic favorite for me. I started listening to that one when I was about ten (from my brother's collection). I also like Draw the Line and Toys... "Kings and Queens" from Draw the Line is one of my all time favorite Aerosmith tunes.
