Have you ever found yourself in album artwork?
I look at images like these (this one is from Mortification's 10 years alive CD) all the time in CDs and records and think about the people who were at the shows. Do they know they were photographed and are in album artwork somewhere? Have you ever found yourself in album artwork?

Re: Have you ever found yourself in album artwork?
I have, but it is usually because I am doing an album and my face is included.
On my most recent, my guitars I made are featured but my face is not included.

Except for the drummer, they could all be me! LOL
The tombstone on the left even has the logo for the guitars I build!

Re: Have you ever found yourself in album artwork?
back in 87 or 88 my brother and I showed up for a video shoot for Heaven Tonight by Yngwie. Found my brother in the video, here he is.
And while not entirely sure I believe this is me. I think that because I never move during concerts. I just stand there and observe everything. No jumping around, nothing. I just stand there like a knot on a log absorbing it all.
Around the 2:20 mark I see me, or what I think is me. I think maybe 150 people showed up. They had us sit in all areas of the coloseum. Then they would shoot video of the crowd in each area. Then we went down towards the stage and the band came out and pretended to play. I think it took about 2 or 3 hours.

And now that I re-watch the video I don't see me at all. But when I first found those shots last year I spent several hours on it frame by frame.

I'm in the Live at Cornerstone 2001 DVD footage. My wife (then girlfriend) is in it too but you can only see the top of her head.

One of the Mark Lowry VHS specials, you could see my dad and the top of my head in one part.
The Cornerstone 99 video, me and some dude are screaming the Blood and Fire lyrics at the Zao concert. I haven't seen the footage, but I assume I'm in it, since the dude with the camera came 10 feet from us and had it pointed right at us for a bit.
This album cover is actually my face, ran through filters, effects and a woodsy scene:
...but I also designed it so... not the same as being in something someone else made.

I'm in here somewhere haha:
I don't think I've shown up in any album artwork, though there have been a few times now I've shown up in the thank you section which was pretty neat.

I'm in the video for "Free" by Stryper. It was recorded in Seattle at the Paramount Theater.
I'm also in the DVD that Bride released called "Metal". It was recorded at His Festival II.
My pictures were used The Moshketeers Downward Spiral CD released by Roxx.
Sorry, not exactly was the thread is about, but that's the closest I could come!

Re: Have you ever found yourself in album artwork?
I've been in the credits for the 2nd L.O.U.D. album "It's True". If you preordered their demo album many years ago, you got to be in the liner notes.
I've also been in the liner notes on a couple of Liberty 'N Justice albums, Incarnate's only album, and in the credits for Joshua's Creed. I did some bass for LnJ and Incarnate and mastered the Joshua's Creed album. Hey, it is the only way I know to get free CDs!
I need a sign that says, "Will work for free music!"

I'm in the Tourniquet video they put out with footage from their Cornerstone '91 show, where Guy talks about being pulled over and telling the cop, "I'm a Christian. Didn't you see my fish?" I'm at the very front of the stage, mullet and all. Not album art, but as close as I could think of.

Not on any cover, but Michael Carlisle does mention my magazine (Godcore zine) in the Mortification - Grind Planets video. And i provided snake use for the Until the End video clip. A bit of useless trivia really.

I was going to say "No" until I saw your pic. Any idea where and when that photo was taken? I saw Mortification at least 4-5 times in Texas back in the day from 1992 - 1998 or so, and the guy that the red arrow is pointing to looks an awful lot like me. The closest thing I can claim is that I was in the crowd of one the Tourniquet show at the 1997 Rockfest in Marble Falls, TX on their Ocular Digital DVD.

Dude, I've seen you around here at the CMR for some time now, and I've always respected you and your opinions. But I gotta say, this time you have gone completely bonkers, off your rocker, and overboard to a great degree. That guy looks nothing like a duck.

The notes in the CD booklet state "Recorded live, October 1st 1999, at the Blackstump Festival Appin, N.S.W. Australia", but I cannot confirm that's where the picture was taken.

I can say I am officially part of One Bad Pig history having made the cover of their "Live At Cornerstone 2002" album cover. Front and center! LOL!

They're worth it. Every song has some antic/gimmick/act that goes along with it. It's goofy but not cheesy unless you think the whole thing is cheesy.
I was at that show (and C-stone 2000) and I'm probably just off camera to the right of that album cover.

I believe my dad's friend ended up in the crowd on the cover of Rush's Exit Stage Left.
