Funny, I've had these kinds of thoughts of "how many links are there between certain bands" for years now.
Anyway, since Toto is my favourite band from my teenage years (next to Rammstein), I tried several of my favourite power metal bands combined with them. Not many steps included, strangely enough.

And then a whopping 18 steps between Stryper and Rhapsody...

Broke it on my 2nd try.  There's 14 steps between Marduk and Justin Beiber, but NO connection between Immolation and Rebecca Black.
