They're reducing my Oxyplatin chemo (the stuff that makes my hands hurt) by almost half (85mg before, now it's 45mg)

I'm hoping that with this, coupled with my cold pressed cranberry juice strategy, that I'll have most of next week to get down to music...

I am so blessed to be married to Kaytlyn. She's such a rock. She's sat right beside me at every chemo infusion. It can take up to 8 hours to get all those initial fluids in, and she's always been there with me, even if she has to work that night.

She's even rearranged her plans as not to miss a session to, as she puts it, fight along side of me. God I love her.

Well, today is the day. The series of scans I have will give my oncologist the information on if my cancer is in remission or not.

Already drank that dye. Just waiting to get that harpoon in my chest and get shoved into a machine...

My oncologist told me today that I'm in remission from cancer. Some lymph nodes were prominent and there was an opaque spot in my lungs, but that could be from the back to back colds. Nothing looked cancerous. Follow up scans in 3 months... God is good!
