Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet

This is such a great album. My kids who are in their early teens love this album. They are not rock fans at all, but they love this record. I think that speaks to how good the songs are. It was a huge commercial success for a reason.

Absolutely great album! One of my favorites from Bon Jovi! Might even be my favorite!

My daughter who is a jazz fan, and my son who is into J-pop & EDM also really dig the album.  It's just a great rock record.

Yep, need to pull this one out and have a listen again soon. My favourite is These Days though.

I hated it when it was released. I thought of it as Poser/Chick music but I was into Maiden, Priest & Rush. But today it holds up pretty well. I saw it in the $5 bin at Walmart recently, the remastered version with bonus tracks and I almost picked it up. But would have never been caught dead with it 1986-1995.

Great album...never thought the original cover should be banned...I don't think it would be banned today...thank Goodness we are past those days...

My cousin was a HUGE Bon Jovi fan. I liked them alright too, but only know the singles. What I remember most was going to the local Pizza Hut on a Friday night and hearing "Livin' on a Prayer" and "Wanted Dead or Alive" playing on the juke box. I've thought about picking this album up before but never pulled the trigger.

Wow... Pizza Huts once had juke boxes and I'm old enough to remember it.

You should get it. There are a number of great songs that weren't ever released as singles. Let It Rock, Raise Your Hands, Never Say Goodbye, and Wild In The Streets are just terrific songs.

Yep....that album is good example of well written pop metal/hard rock.
