One of the parts of having a physical album is having the cover artwork. That being said, what do you consider some of the all time best album artwork for Christian bands?

These are my favorite. The first is so weird, but so interesting. Dave Quiggle made some legit covers back in the day. Antestor's I just love because it's just different. The picture matches the CDs atmosphere. If it wouldn't be so weird, it'd almost feel right to be at a graveyard playing the CD which has the grim atmosphere, but great lyrics. And Theocracy's is just perfect and encapsulates what the song was trying to get across. The dude who did it(DiG, I think?) did a fantastic job.

Nice thread. I need to think about it, this is a hard decision.
All I can say is: the winner won't be any of guardian artcovers. I will save those for the worst album cover artwork.

A couple favorites of mine happen to be Tourniquet releases
This topic isn't limited to metal releases. This one just so happens to be my avatar. I love the humor in it (at least it's funny to me)

All I can say is "good album cover art is in the eye of the beholder!" Haha. Most of those posted are decent but others are TERRIBLE by any artistic standard! That Theocracy cover looks like it was done in a free Paint program by a 12 year old. Don't get me started on Tourniquet...they haven't had a single album cover that doesn't make me want to stab my eyes out (other than Stop the Bleeding which was mediocre but ok). They're probably used in design classes the world over as examples of what not to do.
Before anybody gets their panties in a wad, like I said it's all in the eye of the beholder! All opinions are valid when it comes to art, unfortunately for those with good taste.

I did "Mirror of Souls". I believe that "As the World Bleeds" was done by Felipe Machado Franco. I usually get kicked to the curb for his art.

Don't really care for the two Tourniquet albums listed: they would probably be the last ones I'd list from Ted & Co. That Electrics cover is cool.
The Petra cover is fantastic as is Messiah Prophet.
Antestor cover is perfect. Love the new album cover for the next Temple of Blood - nice work already.
