How awesome is this?

This is the best Christian metal I have heard in at least a decade.

Last band I enjoyed this much was Faith Factor, Hating Evil, or Sword of Judgement!

I would rate it as somewhat awesome.  Which is quite good, because most things don't reach awesome at all!

It's been a while since anything Christian metal has given me those awesome hair standing straight up on the arm's goosebumps. Hope there's a cd somewhere

Apparently they are taking the new school "digital only" approach to releases by doing a song at a time and no albums.

While that makes perfect sense for some markets, I don't think the metal scene will ever embrace that.

Regardless, I will keep listening to this excellent band.

I liked it more than I thought I would

This is crazy, I just found out yesterday that I work with the Singer, Patrick. He's a great guy and I've known him for 7 months now. We (and a few co-workers) hung out at a bar and grille yesterday and started talking about music and he said he fronted a local Christian band that "resembles Slayer and Metallica style music but with Christian lyrics". I have yet to listen to anything but thought I'd pass this along.

Okay, had a nice little email back and forth with Patrick (the lead singer) after listening to their stuff and I can answer some of your inquiries. I will simply copy and paste his response below:

my whole purpose was to get God's word out and that's what plan on doing
we have about 7 Christian labels wanting to put out our record, but I can't be
sidelined from getting the word out - I've been really convicted by the Holy Spirit
to get the word out and trust God and His divine will for the future
I have no doubt when we have enough material this summer for a full length that 
we will have no issues finding a label to put out a physical copy for His glory

Interesting, I liked it more than I expected (being a fan of mainly "hair bands"). Sounds like this is something Roxx Records or the new No Life Til Metal Records should sign.

I've wondered if Scott has heard these guys, bet he'd love to have them on his label.
