Top 10 Christian albums of all time

Like Alldat mine changes often,  but here's 10 of the best...

1 - Theocracy - As The World Bleeds
I AM is such an awesome song that if that was the only song on the album it would still make the top ten list!

2 - Theocracy - Mirror Of Souls
I've always found the lyrics of Theocracy to be one of its main selling points, and MOS has it in bucket loads!

3 - Bride - Silence Is Madness
Bride have done many great albums over they years, but this is my favourite by them.  Would have been even better if they had included Same Ol' Sinner and Everybody Knows My Name on it - but it's pretty much perfect anyway!

4 - Tourniquet - Stop The Bleeding
Guy sings like no one else!  Brilliant stuff!

5 - Sacred Warrior - Obsessions

6  - Disciple - Attack
The more I listen to this the better it gets.  Loved their two previous albums but the lyrics weren't as open.  Attack takes us right back to when they were at their best lyrically, but now the music is top notch.

7 - Signum Regis - Through The Storm
Probably going to make my album of 2015.  Really catchy songs with incredible hooks and God honouring lyrics.

8 - Petra - Not Of This World

9 - Bride - Snakes In The Playground

10 - Seventh Avenue - Terium
It's like Sci Fi Christianity!

Based on the "deeper level" criteria I couldn't limit the list to 10 (an arbitrary number anyway).  So here goes, alphabetically by band:

Barnabas-"Approaching Light Speed" 
The first Christian hard rock album I ever heard.

Neon Cross-S/T
Met them at a show in Hollywood before I got saved and became good friends with them.  PK Mitchell was the second lead player and future members of Holy Soldier were their roadies.  Fun Times

Holy Rite-Stand As One
A band who had way more talent than this album shows. Sean Silas is probably the best guitar player that nobody has ever heard of.   TRIVIA....The singer left to join Bill in Final Axe and the rest of the band became Iron Wrath. Who has a song on one the Regency Records "Underground Metal" Compilations.

Emerald-Armed For Battle
These guys should have been huge (IMHO) Who knows what might have happened if they never met the Elefante Brothers ? I love these guys like brothers. TRIVIA...the remnants of this band became Seventh Sign.

Final Axe-Beyond Hell's Gates
Bill's first band "Asteroid" practiced around the corner from my Grandmother's house. I owe my faith in Christ to the way he demonstrated a Christ follower should live their life. Thanks man... Amazing musician and one of the funniest guys around.
The original Cassette only release is the best version of this EVER.

Ransom S/T
Lisa is amazing. Have a great story from the First Aid days involving a swarm of flies backstage at the very first His Festival.

Bloodgood S/T
An album that made me get out my bible quite a lot.

California Metal and California Metal II
Had lots of friends on both albums.  It was a great time seeing all this stuff come together.

Holy Soldier S/T
I much prefer Robbie Brauns in the band, but this is still an excellent record.

Mad at the world Boomerang! Yes I had that and quite a few others from this band. Boomerang had quite a GnR feel to it from what I remember and all of their albums were different from the last. Good band.

Your list is clearly much more broad than mine, but some similarities for sure, even in the ones that don't exactly "match" (love COD Disengage, you mentioned AILD and specifically Ocean, Grave Declaration, all favorites of mine).  I did like Zao Splinter, but often Blood and Fire seems to be remembered as ground breaking or whatever for the style, IMO it was a pretty small step from Overcome, who on the whole I always preferred (no disrespect to Zao as a fine band as well, of course).


And if I can +1/2 for an ep -- Immortal Souls "Divine Wintertime."  Dang was I nuts for that, and still think it's fantastic.

I tried to keep this to just 10. I'm so sorry I went overboard. But to be sincerely honest - each of these albums had a huge impact on my life!

My list emphasized albums and people that were an important factor in my becoming a Christian and impacted my young Christian walk, change my life forever.

If I made a list of my favorite albums from a different perspective, like the best songs (For various reasons)
