Top 10 Christian Metal and/or Hard Rock Albums Of All Time!

Here we go! I'll try to avoid repeating bands as much as I can. *There's really no order except for number 1.

1. As The World Bleeds - Theocracy
10/10. No other music can touch how amazing this album and band is.

2. Human Sacrifice - Vengeance Rising
9/10. Amazing Thrash Metal. Ascension is absolutely amazing, could remove the super short interludes though lol.

3. Deliverance - Deliverance
9/10. Thrash at its finest(except for ...AJFA). Only people who have fully listened to the album will get this, "I don't like that last scream."

4. Fight The Silence - For Today
8.9/10. The best Metalcore record period. Secular or Christian.

5. Jekyll & Hyde - Petra
9/10. Petra's final and heaviest album. Some of their best work on here, if it had some awesome Bob solos it would be 10/10.

6. Satellites - P.O.D
8.8/10. Great Nu Metal album. Thinking About Forever is underrated.

7. Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance - Tourniquet
8.8/10. Best Tourniquet album is hard but I felt like I needed to choose this one for some reason.

8. No More Hell To Pay - Stryper
8.5/10. Most people would say To Hell With The Devil but I think this is their best work.

9. Albus Mendacium - Ritual Servant
8.9/10. If RS keeps this up they could become the greatest Christian Thrash band ever.

10. Silence Is Madness - Bride
8/10. Really good album from a really good band.

This list could be completely different tomorrow but this felt pretty close to perfect for me. If I was okay with repeating bands this would look very different. Here are some honorable mentions:

Ghost Ship - Theocracy
Is def top ten worthy but again, not repeating bands. Coolest artwork ever.

Haunts Of Violence - Sacrament
Most people like the debut better but I love this album, better vocals. I still love the debut though.

Once Dead - Vengeance Rising
Again just not repeating bands.

It's Critical - Saving Jackie
Just haven't listened enough yet. Amazing so far though. Incredible how close it sounds to Rage Against The Machine, and it's a girl singer!

Nice list! So you like Theocracy….what’s your thoughts on the new album Mosaic? My personal favorite is Mirror Of Souls. It’s their best album followed by Mosaic.

I agree with Petra Jekyll & Hyde. This album is good. Would’ve been a solid great album with some guitar solos.

Silence is Madness and the first 2 albums Show No Mercy and Live To Die are classics!

Deliverance s/t is fantastic and Weapons was what solidified their place in Metal.

Vengeance Rising HS and OD are their best.

Sacrament Haunts is another great pick!

Tourniquet POD is arguably their greatest release, but for me I’ll go with Stop The Bleeding. Either way, the majority of their albums all have greatness in them. Elite Metal.

Ritual Servant is my newest favorite Thrash band. I would also add
Motivik as a new favorite band. It could be because both have Ryan Roebuck who is an excellent guitarist.

Yeah, I think I listened to a whole album by Theocracy and couldn't remember much about it or tell any songs apart after it was over.  It was musically excellent, but there was nothing interesting to me in such bland perfection.  I think the only power metal I could ever get into was Iced Earth.  But the vocals still made me cringe a little.

My personal favorites, although it's probably due to nostalgia and I wouldn't call them the "best" objectively:

I haven't listened to much of mosaic yet but the opening track is great.

I wonder if you'd like Theocracy's song Laying the Demon to Rest? It's their heaviest and has an instrumental thrash section in the middle with one riff that wouldn't be out of place on Scrolls.
