Random thoughts...

Those guys finished my siding today!  I think it looks great.  Definitely a big improvement.

Crap I didn't realize that tree was in the way on that after picture. 

I spent 5.5 hours today doing a "fall cleaning".  (sort of like a spring cleaning, but in November)
Man I love having a clean house.  Especially since I'm in it all the time being sick with chemotherapy.  ...just one less thing I have to worry about when my castle is clean.

Nice pictures! It always does good to the soul to have something clean. At the school where I used to work, one of the buildings (the workshop) had faded and peeling paint all around, red on the lower level and white for the upper levels. They just redid it in a nice brown, to match the garage, and it looks beautiful.

How old is your house, out of curiosity?

My house is definitely over 100 years old. When I bought it, it had a fuse box from the 1930's in it. ...at least that's when my electrician says it was from. It was crazy janky man. Ran on these weird tube and box shaped fuses, different from the half light bulb looking ones.

Spent a few grand and now I've got a breaker box and upgraded wall plug-ins. AND a main breaker that's outside the house. (The lady I bought the house from just let the meter readers on the screened in back porch. Um, no... I'm not going to do that)

Anyone in here use SnapChat? I don't have an iPhone and I haven't looked to see if this is for android, but my wife uses this app all the time. Quite often she'll take goofy or cute pictures using their effects/filters and will randomly send these to my phone. Kinda makes my day.

Also, since she knows the password to unlock my phone, if I've left it unattended, she'll take a bunch of pictures of herself using my phone and save them. That also makes my day. HAHA!!

I just got snapchat like 2 days ago. I've overused it already. It's fun, though.

It is fun. There's all sorts of filter effects photos of me and my wife on the Facebook page she made regarding my cancer fight.

Wahoo!  This Friday night will be Veronika's first (of many, many more I'm sure ) heavy metal concert!  We're going to see Sonata Arctica up in San Francisco.  Should be a great time.  I've been to the venue numerous times and it's pretty cool.  I'm stoked!

Score!  Transformers The Movie (1986) is now re-released on Blu-Ray!  That was my absolute favorite flick as a kid and it brings back a ton of nostalgia.  If anyone was wondering what to get me for Christmas...

The other day at work I set a roll of saltine crackers in the corner of the break room with some other lunch fixings.  I had just opened it and ate like two crackers or so.  I came back a half-hour later and someone had opened the OTHER END of the roll and ate a few crackers from it.  Taking someone else's food without permission is one thing... but to open the other end of an already-opened roll of crackers?!?  Why...............

Got a weird phone call this morning. This law office is trying to reach my ex wife because she's being sued for a car wreck in 2014. They even hired a private investigator and still haven't been able to find her. Her phone and emails have been disconnected and she's not at her address.

Whoa that is pretty bizarre indeed.  I hope she's ok...

Well, as far as her being ok, I'm not really interested in that...  (insert ex-wife joke here, expanding "ok" to her mental well being)

I don't wish for anyone (including my ex wife) to be a victim of a crime.  I have thought it was strange for quite some time now that she maintained a Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts while I was with her.  ...they've all been inactive for quite some time now... which is also odd to me.

Her brother and dad's Facebook pages also make zero mention of her - like she doesn't exist...

Ok, I made the mistake of snooping around for the sake of curiosity. Found a different (still very outdated) Facebook of hers, but its definitely her.

The last entry she made (which was months after the 2nd to last post) was the morning of July 14th 2016 where she temporarily changed her profile pic to a green unhappy Spongebob. I wouldn't have thought much about it, but July 14th is my freakin' birthday...

Like, get over it. I tried to save the marriage - you're the one that chose that damn job over me.

I have a hole in the sole of my left shoe.  So now that it's raining like crazy, my left heel is constantly damp and it's unpleasant and gross!  Got new shoes ordered online though so hopefully they'll come soon and be good!

I've always been nervous ordering shoes online. What if they don't fit right? I hate returns and the whole return process.

Yeah me too...  These have pretty stellar reviews online and they have a special rubber bonding machine (from Slovakia of all places!) so the soles don't fall off of the canvas and such.  They've got free pre-paid returns (and shipping) so there isn't much of any skin off my back besides a little time repackaging them if they don't fit.
