guess that depends on what you call loonies...I think some of the looniest most moronic and backward people I have ever met live here in Oklahoma (alot of Californians are there because their Oklahoma relatives from the dust bowl era moved there Shocked

Back on topic. People aside, remember super great weather. Low humidity. Not too hot Summers. Not too cold winters. No blizzards, tornadoes or hurricanes.

All kinds of environments, beaches, mountains, valleys, dessert, redwood forests, all withing a few hours driving distance of each other.

The best part is that all the pollutants in the air are organic. Wink

the deal with California is the cost of living there is about 5 times higher than where I live now but it doesn't appear to me that salary's out there are any more than where I am now..

That is a consideration. But if you can afford it, it's wonderful geography to live in. At least come visit some time.

I'm experiencing my first high school graduation as a parent this weekend. It never ceases to amaze me how some people can't get over themselves long enough to help a kid celebrate a major milestone in life.

my youngest son graduated 6 years ago...his mom (my exwife) didn't even show up... He was pretty upset...He hasn't spoken to her since to this day...
