I have never understood what is special about TSO. I find them highly overrated. Some people I know act like they are some ultra heavy metal Christmas music

I don't think they are that overrated, I think they are quite amazing, but I have always been a fan because of my uncle.

They arent super heavy just they flawlessly combine orchestra Christmas music with rock/metal overtones

I hear ya', bro.!  I don't get what all the hype is either.  Maybe we need to see them live or something to really embrace it.  I had a couple of their albums given to me and they quite literally bored me to death.  Yes, I died.  I am a body less phantom sitting at a computer typing right now because of this tragedy.

This was just released but I am in love with it and have played it almost nonstop since I got it about a week ago.  The whole CD is just awesome.

I wish I could see all these videos being posted. They are blocked at work so all I see is a big white box. No idea what anyone is posting without a text title. But anyways, as far as TSO goes, after hear the likes of Metallica S&M, Virgin Black Requiem series and loads of symphonic metal from Divinefire to Renascent. TSO seems to pale in comparison

Many wouldn't think of this songs as a " Christmas " song per se, but theologically it is 100%...
