Random thoughts...

We were in Pahrump which is Nye County.  It's pretty much directly west of Las Vegas.  The training facility is called Front Sight and we camped about 10 minutes away off some dirt road.  It's a beautiful place there!  On our way out, we drove up into the mountains and explored which was super cool.

I am in the city over from Phoenix.  It is ~50 and yesterday, or the day before, had rained for about 24 hours straight.  My room has no heater.  I have no clean pants, only shorts.  My socks and shoes are both those "breathable" types, so they don't help with keeping warm.
I never thought I'd miss the heat, but here I am, missing the heat.

Perhaps both.  

The article does begin by talking about doing a background check on yourself, but if you actually read the entire thing  you would see that it also says: "It's also a very good idea to do a background check before taking on a roommate or going out on a date with that new crush you met online. You never know what sort of worrying or dangerous details could be lurking in someone's past."

Well, the "online" part doesn't apply, but you get the idea.

Yes. You are correct.  I plan on changing this one soon though.

Tonight I stripped my 1911 handgun down to its frame and gave it a thorough cleaning.  It took long enough, but it was well worth it.  Ohhhhhh... it feels so nice and smooth now!

Hahahaha well I did some research (warning, slightly suggestive...) and determined I'll just stick with what I've got.   

There wasn't anything going on with that lady anyways so I wouldn't consider things to have "gone south" - rather from where I'm at, things can only go north (with that one I mentioned or someone else)!

Kerrick, your awkwardness is hilarious. I can relate to it, too. Sometimes I say something and it just sounds so wrong. I don't realize until after I said it.

Been there. Have friends who live in Pahrump NV. It's about 3 hours from me though... long ways away.

If Ziva David of NCIS lost half a foot to a foot and put on about 50 pounds, I saw her today.  The resemblance was absolutely amazing.
