I agree Candlemass. I battle depression and I'm one of the funniest people I know. I hide behind the jokes so I don't have to deal with it.

So, besides jokes, how do you deal with it?


I think an another important thing to consider is the affect of drugs (medications) on depression. Doctors start giving you pills to help you cope with it, but it upsets your emotional balance worse and weakens you in the darkest hours. That's why many die from it.


Very sad to see RW go that way, but not surprising from the interviews I've heard from him in the past.

Sorry david - just saw this. I also pray, talk with my wife or a trusted friend.... I don;t use meds anymore but I was on Lexapro for a year and a half several years ago while going to therapy.

I disagree..if someone needs the meds they need to take them..I consider the meds a gift from God...They have done wonders for my wife and they have saved her and they keep her stable...

I remember watching the Joan Rivers show back in the 80s...I saw several bands perform on her show . I specifically remember Poison performing on her show..It was awesome and Joan seemed to get a kick out of poison's performance...

Quite the guy. I have to say that I've never been in a Chick-fil-A that was badly ran. I've always found them clean and the service prompt. There are stories I could tell of things the chain has done going above and beyond. I work for a printer and have dealt with a lot of their internal material as well, and have read some of it. He was a smart man with the way he ran the company. Hopefully they continue to run the company the way he did.

Not a very well known guy but he was a professional wrestler: Sean O'Haire. 

O'Haire was forty-three years old. An obituary for O'Haire can be found here; it notes that he was found in his Spartanburg, South Carolina home on Monday.



O'Haire was best known for his team-ups with Mark Jindrak and Chuck Palumbo in WCW (and WWE in Palumbo's case). He won the WCW World Tag Team Titles three times, twice with Jindrak and once with Palumbo. He lost some steam in WWE after the Invasion storyline and had been primed to return with a new, dark preacher-esque gimmick in 2003, but it was quickly abandoned. He was released from his WWE contract on April 3, 2004 after having been sent to OVW in February.
