 Rest in peace, Frenchie. Our friend and neighbor French Smallwood passed away on Sunday. You might recognize him from the cover of Glenn Kaiser's album Cardboard Box. We will always remember him as gentle, humble, and kind. He was homeless for over 15 years before he lived at Friendly Towers, a ministry of Jesus People USA. It was a blessing to share our lives with him.

I'm sure CC will press on. Chuck is responsible (thru the Spirit working in him) for multitudes of churches being formed, as well as several of the rock bands we love from the 70s and 80s. Chuck gave them a stage when so many other churches were looking down their noses at that "rock and roll" stuff.

We have Chuck to thank for encouraging those bands from their infancy. Without Chuck's support, we may have never heard of many of those bands and a lot of bands may have given up the dream.  Chuck was definitely a fearless leader.

It looks like Paul Crouch Sr passed away. I don't agree with a lot of things he believed in, but he did a lot for the spread of the gospel, and he has to be recognized and thanked for that.
