Best of Charon Collective (label)?
A couple of months ago I attempted to catch up on listening to everything the label Charon Collective has released. They put out so much that I can't keep up. I found some real gems. These were the albums below I found to be quite good and worth a listen. Scarlet Oath is on another level, but all of these were great. What about anybody else?
To Die Elsewhere--Under Gods — melodic death with instrumentals
Toarn—Lament — metalcore
Burial Extraction--A Shadow of Things to Come — death metal
The Undertaking!--Superstitions — raw rock/post-hardcore
Omega Rage--You’re All Gonna Die — heavy groove nu-metal/rock
Scarlet Oath--Where Their Worm Dieth Not — epic black/death/doom, long experimental songs, really ambitious and masterful, ranging from beautiful to ferocious. It doesn’t sound like anything else in Christian metal but I could see it appealing to fans of Extol, Becoming the Archetype, In Vain, Lo-Ruhamah, and Believer's Dimensions, because of its uniqueness and expansive musicianship. This is an album you listen to on headphones, because you're going on a journey.
Klank - Between Unholy & Divine Vol. 1 -- industrial metal
Testimony of Apocalypse — None Escape the Judgement -- death metal

ToA and Burial Extraction are the only ones I've heard but they're very good.

Easily Trebuchet SDG for me! That album is killer. Diatheke's singles are after that. (I'm looking forward to their debut full-length!)
This is a really neat label though; I'm impressed at how eclectic it is. While most of their stuff is not musically my cup of tea, it's obvious that their roster is full of high quality bands.

Cool. I don't think I got as far as Trebuchet SDG. I've heard good things so I'll have to check it out. Missed Diatheke too.Kerrick wrote:Easily Trebuchet SDG for me! That album is killer. Diatheke's singles are after that. (I'm looking forward to their debut full-length!)

They are an eclectic label! Too many singles and EPs for me to keep track of, but I like the variety.
