Top 10 Whitecross songs
What are your top 10 Whitecross songs, and why?
10. Resist Him: Classic song. Good chorus and riffs.
9. My Love: Beautiful acoustic intro. Also love the pre-chorus and end of the chorus. Still cheesy, but for a Whitecross ballad it could be much worse.
8. The Balance: Equilibrium is such an underrated album. One of their heaviest riffs in this song. Really good chorus too. GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON!!! I'm not a fan of the verses though.
7. Take it to the Limit: Great hair metal riffing, and some really good solos.
6. Down: Really good chorus. The pre-chorus is my fav part. I'm just realizing how good Whitecross's pre-choruses are.
5. Love on the Line: Same points as TittL, just better.
4. Get Real: Really good riff. This song gave me hope for Flytrap to be a great album... it's one of their worst overall lol.
3. You Will Find it There: Easily their best ballad. It's got a beautiful chorus and good lyrics that aren't that cheesy for the most part.
2. Attention Please: One of the first metal songs I heard. Great hair metal with great energy, such a fun song.
1. Heaven's Calling Tonight: Already a great hair metal song, top 5 for the band musically, but the lyrics are why it's #1... I have a big soft spot for songs about heaven.

Re: Top 10 Whitecross songs
Haven't listened to Whitecross in very long time so just off the top of my head
Down- great power ballad
Flashpoint- a sweet melodic guitar instrumental
Heaven's calling tonight- Cool song and as always Rex scratches out another sweet melodic solo. What a great player Rex is!
Over the top (a major key up beat tune that reminds me of the Stallone movie of with the same title,a movie which takes me back to a happy place)
Attention please- Cool guitar riffs and solo
No Second chances- Great song great solo and I just love Rex through and through, his rhythm playing is overlooked, I guess in the shadow of his lead guitar work. I love the way he breaks up chords and adds little subtle intricate details to his rhythm work, a true master of his craft.
Can't think of anymore just at the minute. I'd have to go back and listen to the albums again. Anyways that'll do.

Re: Top 10 Whitecross songs
I think Who Will You Follow might be my favorite song. I think much of my top 10 would be songs from the first album. The first 3 has a lot of good songs. It's My Life from To the Limit is an underrated song and this song and You're My Lord has lots of fire in them. It's like where was the fire on High Gear and ITK? If these albums were as on fire as those 2 tracks on To the Limit these albums would bexas good as the first 3. I have a feeling those 2 tracks were older left over tracks.
