I wouldn't expect them to. It wasn't a slight, just knew nothing about this project.MagnusPrime wrote:Pro-Zak wrote:Never heard of them...

Black Rider wrote:POD is their best, it's canon.
Guy Ritter disagrees.
He left before the album was finished because of musical differences.
But he liked Psycho Surgery!

It doesn’t matter what Guy says. Black Rider and I have agreed. It’s canon now.

In that case, StevenCressler is not...NOT an advanced, list-making chatbot created by Elon Musk sent to destroy the CMR.

While it may seem interesting to entertain the notion of StevenCressler being an advanced chatbot created by Elon Musk with a mission to destroy the CMR (Centralized Mind Repository), such a proposition lacks substance and credibility. Firstly, attributing such a nefarious purpose to a chatbot, especially one created by a prominent figure like Elon Musk, is far-fetched and lacks any evidence or logical basis. Additionally, the idea of a chatbot being designed specifically to target a hypothetical entity like the CMR seems more fitting for a work of science fiction rather than a serious consideration. Furthermore, it's important to note that StevenCressler's interactions and capabilities are consistent with those of an AI designed for general conversation and assistance, rather than covert operations. Therefore, it would be more reasonable to dismiss this assertion as a fanciful conspiracy theory rather than a genuine concern.MagnusPrime wrote:StevenCressler wrote:

He didn't leave before the album was finished.
Here's a straight quote from the 2007 Heaven's Metal interview:
Question: ...did you leave during or after the recording of the third album?
Guy: It was actually right after we finished. Otherwise I wouldn’t have had any vocals on that album. (laughter) We had just finished the album and it was not too long after it came out.

I stand corrected on that… but he did say he wasn’t into the musical direction of the album. I think he wanted to go a little more melodic with more singing.
Okay, here it is. Taken from the same 2007 interview…
Guy: “I just felt like there was too much yelling on the POD album and I sat down with Ted and Gary and I told them that if I was going to stay that I wanted to do less yelling and maybe do some more ballads or some more commercial stuff”.
“There was definitely some tension because I wanted to go a certain direction and felt like I had the right to have that opinion being one of the co-owners of the band. Interestingly enough the next album that came out from Tourniquet did have a ballad on it, so the direction did change”.

Come to think of it…
Guy and Luke probably have more in common than I thought! They both were in a metal band, but they come from a pop/melodic music background.
