Let’s hear your favorite artist from each metal genre (feel free to skip genres you don’t like).

Death (melodic): Hilastherion (or Wintersun if we count secular)

Doom: Nomad Son

Speed: Impellitteri

Folk: Illuminandi

Symphonic: Ecthirion

Neoclassical: Golden Resurrection

Deathcore: A Secret Ending (only included this normally bad genre for this band)

Nu-metal: Thousand Foot Krutch (mainly included for nostalgia)

“Combination” genres: Adorned Graves, Epta Astera, Biogenesis

Christian only:

Black: at this point, Anima Mortuum
Death: Mortification (first 3)
Doom: Forsaken
Speed: Not sure what fits in this category, but Impellitteri is great.
Symphonic: Reflection of Glory

Metalcore: Demon Hunter

Don't listen to a lot of variety, but for what I do have

Hair: Holy Soldier (But if I let the amount of music influence my choice it would be Stryper)

Metalcore: I think some Red songs are metalcore, so I'll go with them

Golden Resurrection is the best example I can think of. They even incorporate a Mozart piece (Rondo Alla Turca)  into their song Spirit War
