Their last truly great album imo.

My favorite of their post-80s work. Top 3 Maiden album for me.

Agreed.  Though Senjutsu is darn good and much closer than The Final Frontier or The Book Of Souls IMO.

I'm not able to separate the nostalgia-factor from BNW or DOD which both are among my favorites, but if I were to try to be objective... I'd probably agree with you. 

Took me a few minutes to look up what "AMOLAD" was, lol.
Never heard it.  Iron Maiden just got too repetitive for me after awhile.
I did like some of Book Of Souls but that is the only post-2000 album of theirs that I've heard in it's entirety....

Yes it was I who disliked your post.  

I recommend giving it a shot.  It really is a very strong album and leaps and bounds better than The Book Of Souls IMO.

Senjutsu is very good, not quite great. The Book of Souls has so much blost but there's some good songs on there.

Has one of my fav IM songs of all time.

The Longest Day, as a history nerd and expecially WWII I can listen to that song on repeat and do every June 6th

Amazing song.
