Favorite post-PMA Morty album?

For most of us, I expect our favorite Morty album is one of the first three. But what about after that?

I love most Morty albums. There’s a lot of gold in their mid and later career work.

I’m leaving off eps and live albums.

I’m also allowing multiple choices.

I had to leave off Realm of the Skeletaur because there were too many options. But if it’s your favorite, let me know!

For me, it’s between Blood World and Hammer of God. So I choose both!

What say you?

I got the impression that Relentless was a bit of a comeback, even if its style was quite different from classic Mort.

I went with Relentless, although I could have gone with Erasing The Goblin too.

Both solid choices. I like the album between (Brain Cleaner), as well, but I think it’s less consistent.

Blood World for me with PRM in second place. I don't think any of the albums (that I've listened to) that came after that are even worth hearing again, with Erasing the Goblin and Brain Cleaner as possible exceptions.

I voted Triumph of Mercy and Brain Cleaner. No multiple choice would have been Triumph of Mercy. Maybe I'm just intrigued by his whole ordeal from that time period, but it has interesting lyrical themes. Brain Cleaner sounds like unused demos from the PMA era (I know it's not, but that's what it sounds like). I wonder if Brian Cleaner would be everyone's favorite with PMA-level production.

I voted for EnVision. Very underrated!

My other choices would be Primitive and Hammer. Relentless has a few great tunes too.

Although I really like Blood World, the production is a bit dull (except for the bass guitar).

It’s a good album…I find it hard to rank my favorite albums after the first 3.

I voted for Blood World, as it seems to be the closest to the classic sound. However, I also like EnVision EvAngelene. Primitive Rhythm Machine is also pretty decent. Later albums were just unlistenable for me, but I bought them anyway as a faithful Mortification collector.

I voted for PRM but, to be honest, I couldn't really get into any of them, and I quit listening after awhile.
PRM gets my vote b/c of Ochoa's guitar solos and the awesome cover art.

I voted Hammer of God/Primitive Rhythm Machine

I really like PRM. Despite the dreadful drum sound the rest of the production is stellar, the guitar solos are sweet, and Steve still uses killer death growls.

I voted Hammer of God because I started grabbing the albums from after EE last year and was most shocked and pleasantly surprised by that album. Such a consistent album and I enjoy the style.

I feel like HoG has some of their most consistent writing and some of their best riffs post-PMA.
