Favorite Pink Floyd Album?
I’ve gotta go Animals, followed by Wish You Were Here.
Confession: I’ve never really cared for Dark Side, other than Time and Money. Let the flaming commence.

Animals.
Followed closely by Meddle
Dark Side has some good stuff on it, but it's not one I listen to very much at all.

Okay I'll do it then (insert typical bogan taste)- Dark side of the moon. The wall is amazing but super depressing. Animals is great too. Did not ever see Pink floyd live, but saw Roger do the full darkside album live plus other stuff. The band started with Set the controls and some other floyd and solo stuff. Second half was darkside album.
The concert had a special audio thing going on where it traveled around the arena. Then the lights went off and it was completely dark. Next minute this massive red moon rises up out of the ground and it feels like your in space right next to it. The came that classic heart beat. was Amazing.

There was a lot of multimedia including the panning of sound that you mentioned, plus many huge inflatable animals like pigs and dogs. They would appear first not inflated, and they would inflate as we were watching them. Those we're the days when you could see a major band for $7.50 - $8.50, even front row seats. I saw Boston from the first row, and Kanas and Led Zeppelin somewhere in the first 15 rows. Led Zep tickets were by lottery though, you couldn't just buy tickets without winning their lottery first because the demand was so high.

Wish You Were Here, for me. They had an amazing run from Dark Side to The Wall. Everything before and ater is a bit hit or miss.
