Computer Keyboards - any recommendations?
Question about computer keyboards:
I have a Toshiba laptop and want to get an external keyboard to save wear and tear on the laptop keyboard.
I bought an HP keyboard on Amazon a few days ago and hate it, I plan to return it.
I am not a gamer, don't need bells & whistles as far as function keys, just want something to type on.
Here is what I am looking for, this is a hard combination it find it seems:
FOR PC, NOT MAC
WIRED, NOT WIRELESS
SLIM BUT FULL SIZE KEYBOARD
FLAT, LOW KEYS LIKE ON A LAPTOP
VERY SMOOTH, QUIET TYPING EXPERIENCE LIKE ON A LAPTOP
BACKLIGHT IF AT ALL POSSIBLE
ALUMINUM BACK IF POSSIBLE, BUT PLASTIC IS O.K.
FLIP-UP LEGS IF AT ALL POSSIBLE
Anyone have any good suggestions? I thought I only needed to spend $30-$50 but it looks like I might need to spend more.

Re: Computer Keyboards - any recommendations?
I have a wireless keyboard on my desktop computer. It is an Onn brand from Walmart that came with the wireless mouse. It was around $25 but works like a charm. I won't go back to a wired mouse if I don't have to.

When it comes to mouses (mice), I had no choice but go wireless. Loki loves chomping through wires.

My previous cat would not have, but my sweet Belle surely would nowadays.
