Is Separatist a Christian band?

It's a band with Christians and non-objectionable lyrics. I don't know if they would consider it a "christian" band. Sam Dishington is clearly a Christian. He has a post-rock worship project called "Quiet Waters" that's solid.

So based just on their lyrics, it's a no.

Separatist is a technical death metal project from Sam Dishington. The lyrics are not explicitly Christian, but do contain themes of redemption. He also is a member of Departe (think Ulcerate, ie. technical black/death/deathcore). He has a great grind project called "Writhe" as well as the aforementioned "Quiet Waters". All are available on Bandcamp, I believe. 

If you're into that genre (ie. Blood Thirsty, Sympathy, Disencumbrance, early Mort), I think it's fantastic stuff.
