Yeah. Mainly said that because I feel like a lot of the hate for his voice comes from the tone and style not exactly fitting thrash. Obviously I'm glad that's where he went, because I'll almost always take a great thrash band over a great hair band, but his voice kind of sounds like it would fit hair better.

Hair Metal? weird, I've always thought he had a perfect thrash voice.
I can't imagine that voice fronting Stryper or Holy Soldier. To me his
voice doesn't fit hair metal and perfectly fits thrash...mostly.

I say mostly because there are a couple ways he uses his voice that I
can't stand. Examples escape me, or maybe I just want to block them
from my mind ; ) but for the most part his vocal is perfect, the prime
examples being "Wake Up Dead" (the perfect metal song, sans lyrics)
and "Peace Sells..."

I definitely like his voice, I just think it has that almost feminine sound that a lot of hair metal bands have. Thrash metal can be high-pitched if it is more harsh and raspy. Again, even in thrash I still think it sounds good, I'm more saying that since many people hate his singing, I wonder if they would think the same if he sang hair.

I just found out that Tourniquet’s Skeezix Dilemma is based on a real board game called Uncle Wiggily, which is based on a childrens story of the same name. The Skeezicks and the Pipsisewah are characters in that story. Here is a picture of space 109 on the board, as mentioned in the song:

I think the reason Ted used this as an example is showing the kind of innocent things that can scare and traumatize children. Now compare that to the trauma of actual abuse.

Maybe, but the thrash/speed style in StB is infinitely better than glam/hair metal so I’m glad he chose that instead

One time when I went camping, I woke up and sat down and had a coffee…I had no spoon to stir it so I grabbed a small branch (stick) to stir it. I later found out it was a hemlock branch. I didn’t die, but it explains a lot. affraid

Oh my! On the topic of sticks-that-weren't-right... one time my dad, uncle, and I were camping together on a dirtbiking trip. We split up to gather firewood and it was quite dark by the time we got back to the campsite. My uncle said, "would you please shine your flashlight on this stick? I'm not sure it's a stick..." and sure enough, it was a leg of a deer - hair, hoof, and all hahahaha.

“Hemlock” refers to two different plants, one is a tree related to pine, spruce etc and the other is a smaller weed. The tree is not poisonous, the weed is. I assume the stick you used was from a hemlock tree
